I focus on founder-run stores. No long contracts.
Three ways to start
1. Mini Audit
Free
One page, five findings, based only on your public storefront. No access to your admin needed.
- Five specific findings, each with the measurement behind it
- A rough sense of impact and what a fix would look like
- Delivered by email, typically within 3 business days
- No obligation. If it is useful, you can use it yourself or hand it to your developer.
2. Full Audit
$795, one time
A deeper written review. Admin access is optional: read-only staff access lets me check more (apps, theme settings), but a storefront-only version is still available for public pages.
What is measured and reported
- Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse metrics (LCP, CLS, TBT, and INP where field data exists) on your home page, a collection page, and a product page, mobile and desktop, using Google PageSpeed Insights
- Add-to-cart path: home or collection, product page, cart, checkout hand-off, step by step, with friction points and any errors found when I test it (I do not place orders)
- App load: which installed apps add scripts or stylesheets to the storefront, their size, and what each costs in load time
- Theme issues: Liquid and theme-check errors, oversized images, missing alt text, broken or inconsistent mobile layout, console errors
- Prioritized fix list: each item marked high, medium or low, with an estimated effort in hours and who can do it (you, your developer, or me)
- A 30-minute call to walk through the report, if you want one
Delivery: typically 5 to 7 business days after I receive access (or after you confirm the storefront-only scope).
What it is not. It does not include implementing the fixes, and it does not predict a specific sales increase. Speed and cart-path fixes tend to help, but results depend on your traffic, products, and market.
3. Care Plan
From $1,200 per month
A set number of hours each month for the work the audit uncovered, plus ongoing monitoring.
- 15 hours per month for $1,200 (a 25-hour option at $1,750 is available if you need more)
- Fixes from the audit list, done in priority order, on a duplicated theme and previewed before anything goes live
- Monthly re-measurement of Core Web Vitals and app load, with a short written report showing what moved
- Unused hours do not roll over; a simple hour log is shared with you each month
- Month to month. Cancel any time with notice before the next billing date.
- Work outside the hours (new features, redesigns) is quoted separately before it starts.
Care Plan is offered after a Full Audit so both of us know the scope.
How it works
- Email me your store URL. I send the free Mini Audit.
- If you want more, we agree on the Full Audit scope and I send an invoice.
- You receive the report. You decide what, if anything, to fix and who does it.
- If you want ongoing help, we start the Care Plan.
What I will not do
- Change your live store without your written go-ahead
- Ask for your store owner password (staff access with limited permissions is enough)
- Promise rankings, revenue, or conversion numbers
Frequently asked questions
- Do you need access to my Shopify admin?
- Not for the Mini Audit, which uses only your public storefront. For the Full Audit, read-only staff access lets me check apps and theme settings, but a storefront-only scope is available. I never need the store owner password.
- Does the audit include fixing the problems?
- No. The Full Audit is a written report with a prioritized fix list. You can fix items yourself, hand them to your developer, or start a Care Plan so I do them.
- Will the audit increase my sales?
- I do not promise sales, ranking or conversion numbers. Speed and cart-path fixes tend to help, but results depend on your traffic, products, and market.
- How is the Care Plan different from the audit?
- The Care Plan is a fixed number of hours each month (15 hours for $1,200 or 25 hours for $1,750) for fixes and monthly re-measurement. It is month to month and offered after a Full Audit.
